WARNING: Pills sold as fentanyl in West Kootenay may include deadly synthetic cannabinoid

A press release by the Nelson Fentanyl Task Force is warning drug users to be aware of a pill being sold as fentanyl that includes a deadly synthetic cannabinoid.
In a release Thursday, the Nelson Fentanyl Task Force said Green tablets that have the letters CDN inscribed on one side and the number 80 on the other include fentanyl, caffeine and cannabinoid AMB-FUBINACA.
The release said the pill was brought into ANKORS Nelson on Baker Street for testing on June 19.
There have been no reports of deaths due to the drug in the West Kootenay.
