These tips left to the arrest of a Williams Lake man.

The accused was arrested and released on a Promise to Appear and an Undertaking with conditions for court on (Wednesday) September 16.

The victim remains in serious but stable condition and will have to be transferred to another hospital for further care as he suffered serious facial and head injuries as a result of the attack.

“I would personally like to thank the media and members of our community for providing us with key information that allowed us to bring the individual responsible for this random, senseless, and violent act, before the courts,” said Staff Sergeant Del Byron acting Detachment commander.

“The Williams Lake RCMP is extremely appreciative of the assistance that was offered by all who came forward in order for us to expedite an arrest. We couldn’t have done it without your help. Thank you Williams Lake.”
