Kootenay Bombers claim BC Club Volleyball U18 Title

The Kootenay Bombers swept through the competition to claim the division title at a BC Club Volleyball Tournament this past weekend in the Fraser Valley.
The Bombers defeated Victoria 2-0 in the best-of-three final in the U18 Girls Division.
Kootenay won by scores of 25-15 and 25-22.
The Bombers posted wins over Focus Fusion, Cougars Amanda and West Coast U17 squad to advance to the playoff round.
Kootenay faced a very competitive Elevate squad in the semi-finals, scoring a three-set victory with a 15-10 decision in the final game.
Next up for the Kootenay Bombers is the Stars and Spikes tournament in Spokane March 5.
The following weekend, Selkirk College hosts the Okanagan Super Series March 11-12.
The BC Club Championships are set for April 20-23 at the Richmond Oval with the Club Nationals May 17-20 in Calgary.
The Kootenay Bombers include coach Staci Proctor and players Lexi Elias, Hannah McClure, Robyn Bunyan, Atlyn Proctor, Abby Ens, Megan Bonikowsky, Sedona Shuel, Gevyn Hlookoff, Brynn Strelaeff Olivia Bezaire, Natasha, Holland, and Amelia Finley.
