Unity Music Festival

@ Sleep is for Sissies Eatery, Winlaw, Aug. 26-27

Presented by the Slocan Valley Cultural Alliance, the Unity Music Festival brings plenty of music and fun to the Slocan Valley on Aug. 26 and 27.

Taking place in the field near Sleep is For Sissies Eatery in Winlaw, the Unity Music Festival has a great international and local lineup.

Featured performers include: Ganga Giri (Australia), Winay Taki (Peru), Mista Chatman (USA), Gisto and the Reggae Allstars (Canada), Pauline Lamb (Canada), Adham Shaikh (Canada), Shades of Loud (Canada), Lokal Motif (Canada), Wolfpack (Canada), The Vortex (Canada) and other various local acts.

The event will also offer a kid zone, camping, vendors, a beer garden, and plenty of family fun.

  • Ticket prices: weekend $45 ($60 at gate), Friday only $25 ($30 at gate), Saturday only $35 ($40 at gate), kids 12 and under free.
  • Gates open: Friday, 4 pm, Saturday, 10 am.

Early bird tickets will be on sale starting July 28 at the following locations: Gaia Tree Whole Foods – Winlaw, Eddies Music – Nelson Packrat Annie’s – Nelson Mountain Valley Station – Slocan City Cup and Saucer – New Denver Black Russian – Castlegar Broadway Deli – Nakusp Evergreen Foods – Crescent Valley.
