Nelson’s own Lila Gray will be back on stage in her hometown as the indie pop artist plays The Royal on March 28th.

The burgeoning singer/songwriter’s career was launched when she won a spot in the Top 100 of the 2021 CBC Searchlight Competition.

The last time Gray was in town, she had such a great time that she decided to come back.

“We played at the Royal. It was the first stop on a Canadian tour,” Gray said on the eve of returning to the Heritage City to perform.

“It was such a great way to kick off the tour because the hometown crowd was so kind to us.”

Gray grew up in Nelson and left after graduating high school at L.V. Rogers to study music production in Montreal, before moving onto Vancouver to grow her career.
