The combined Fiesta squad outlasted LIT from Calgary to capture the top prize at the eighth annual 2019 Disc Break Ultimate Tournament Sunday at the Lakeside Pitch.
Fiesta won the tournament in 2014.
Both teams entered the final undefeated following the round robin draw of the weekend tourney.
Fiesta team is from Spokane.
Silver-medal winning LIT is now off to the Canadian Mixed Ultimate Championships in Brampton in two weeks.
Defending champion Bunny Thugs from Saskatoon defeated Rogue Hippo from Edmonton to capture the third-place prize.
Host club Homegrown of Nelson finished eighth overall in the 14-team tourney after dropping a 13-6 decision to LIT in the A-Division quarterfinals.
Gold Diggers from Vernon/North Okanagan took home the Spirit Prize.
