Nelson Public Library Presents Up, Up and Away Summer Reading Club

Registration for Summer Reading Club activities is currently happening online at nelsonlibrary.ca. Our summer activities start off with the Superhero Kickoff Costume Party on (Wednesday) July 3from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Dress up as your favourite superhero, play games, win prizes and do some fun arts and crafts. A scrumptious cake will be provided by Save-on Foods.

On July 16 from 2-3 p.m. award winning children’s musician from Vancouver Will Stroet will be performing. Check out his music on www.willmusic.ca.  Other events happening throughout the summer at the Library that require registration are:

July 10th: Darcee O’Hearn (ages 6-8), nature crafts from 1-2 p.m.

July 12th: Design your own T-Shirt from 10-12 p.m.

July 17th: Nelson Stitch Lab, learn to sew from 10:15-12:15 p.m.

July 24th: Darcee O’Hearn (ages 9-11), nature crafts from 1-2 p.m.

July 31st: Nelson City Police Station Tour from 10:30-11a.m.

August 7th: Shanti Yoga, from 1:30-2:30 p.m.
