Wildcats off to Single-A Volleyball Championships

The Mount Sentinel Wildcats made it look easy, sweeping through the competition en route to capturing the Kootenay Zone A Boy’s Volleyball Championships last week at the South Slocan based school.
The Cats advance to the Provincial Tournament in Prince George Nov. 22-25.
Mount Sentinel went undefeated through the tournament, winning the best-of-five final 3-0. Teams included Salmo, Fernie, Sparwood, Invermere and Golden.
The Wildcats include, assistant coach Javan Johnson, Chase Stoochnoff, Logan Smart, Will McLeod, Kyle Kabatoff, Aaron Spurge, Mike Hennelly, trainer Colin Marsh, Xavier Moore, Ryan Pearce, Riley Podovelnikoff and head coach Glen Campbell.
