Total Chaos repeats at Nelson Mixed Sloptich Champs, downs Main Jet in Final

Total Chaos made it two straight Nelson Mixed Slopitch titles over the weekend at the Lakeside Ball Diamonds.

The defending champs pulled away from Main Jet in the middle innings en route to a 17-9 decision in the A Final Sunday in Nelson.

After putting up 19-0 in the regular season numbers during the regular season in 2016 followed by a 5-0 playoff mark, Total Chaos posted a second-place finish to Main Jet in 2017 regular season standings.

However, in the playoffs Total Chaos picked up the pace winning out to capture its second consecutive Nelson Mixed Slopitch crown.

In the B-Final, Savoy scored just enough runs to edge OK Tire 6-4 while Shamballers outlasted the Muckers 21-15 to claim the C Event Final.

Meanwhile, West Coast Gorillaz took home the Blair D'Andrea award as most sportsmanship team in the league.
