Nelson hosts Rookie Tourney Sunday at Lions Park

Nelson Baseball teams head into playoff weekend at various locations as West Kootenay Minor Baseball concludes its season this weekend.
At Lions Park in Nelson, teams from Nelson and Castlegar meet to determine the Rookie Championships Sunday.
Nelson Blue Jays, Nelson Greyhounds and Nelson Reds are joined by two teams from Castlegar in the five-team tournament.
Action begins Sunday at 9 a.m. with the Blue Jays meeting the Greyhounds in an All-Nelson matchup.
Nelson Reds meet Castlegar at 10:15 a.m. Other games are Blue Jays vs Castlegar at noon; Greyhounds vs Castlegar at 1:30 p.m.; and Nelson Reds vs Castlegar at 3 p.m.
