Bombers soccer squad earns split in Central Okanagan

The L.V. Rogers Bombers took to the road to test their skills against top-ranked teams this past weekend in the Central Okanagan.

Bomber Seniors earned a split during the two-game swing to Vernon against Seaton and Kalamalka.

LVR opened with a win over Seaton 4-2 before dropping a 6-1 decision to a top-ranked Lakers squad.

Sharing in the goal scoring for the Bombers were Moss Caney, Keegan Carmichael, Liam Shandro, Diego Navajo and Milo Klein.

The Junior Bombers also made the trip. The team lost 5-3 to Kalamalka before finishing the road trip with a 2-2 draw against Seaton.

The Bomber Seniors travel to Cranbrook for a tournament October 12-13.
