Tom Wayman launches new book at Nelson Library

Tom Wayman launches his new book of short stories, The Shadows we Mistake for Love, on Thursday, October 22 at 7 p.m. at the Nelson Public Library.
Set in the Slocan Valley, the collection brings together loggers and environmentalists, pot growers and lawyers, homesteaders and skiiers in stories that draw from the underlying tensions in rural life and the colourful social landscape of small communities.
Wayman is the award-winning author of 18 books of poetry, two collections of essays, and four books of fiction.
The Shadows we Mistake for Love is published by Douglas & McIntyre.
Otter Books will be on hand with copies of Wayman’s books.
