See you in September at Nelson Road Kings Queen City Cruise

While the public enjoys the summer, or dealing with the smoke, the Nelson Road Kings executive has been busy putting the final pieces of the puzzle together on the 2017 Queen City Cruise set for September 8-9th in beautiful Nelson, BC.

As early as Friday, September 8th at 1 p.m., the public will notice fancy cars and trucks from pre-1949 filling the streets and highways in and around the Heritage City.

Registration is at the Nelson Chamber of Commerce starting at 1 p.m.

At 3 p.m., there’s live music from the Beside Manners with Elvis making a special appearance.

Shortley before 6 p.m. spectators will begin to line Baker Street and streets for the annual Parade from Railtown to the Dairy Queen on Nelson Avenue.

At 7 p.m., everyone is invited to the Hall Street Plaza for a Street Dance hosted by the Nelson and District Arts Council.

Sydney Black and the Boyfriends will be providing the entertainment.

Saturday, bright and early, vehicles will begin the fill Baker Street for the annual Show and Shine.

Show and Shine begins at 10 a.m. with a Poker Walk and all day music by Beside Manners & Elvis.

At 3:30 p.m. is the awards will presentation, in seven categories in both Stock and Modified, followed by the Lordco Poker Run at 4:30 p.m. with prizes awarded at 6 p.m. at Mountain Lake Senior’s Facility.

The weekend concludes with the Car de Gras evening at participating hotels in Nelson.
