NBC makes donation to Kootenay Kids

The Kootenay Kids got a boost to summer fundraising when Kate and Matt Walker of Nelson Brewing Company presented a cheque for $300.
The Walkers, new owners of the Nelson Brewing Company, realize the importance of community building. The donation is being matched by Scotiabank Nelson.
The Kootenay Kids will be back at the corner of Ward and Baker for the third Lemonade Event of the summer — Wednesday (August 3)
The Lemonade Stand Sale goes from between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. outside the Scotiabank Branch in Nelson.
