Girls Do Ski is coming this weekend to Whitewater Ski Resort.

Based out of Revelstoke, Girls Do Ski, is Canada’s leading freeski camp for women — descending on Whitewater March 1-2.

On the heels of camps at Revelstoke Mountain Resort and two backcountry camps (a first for us this year!) with K3 Cat Ski and Selkirk Tangiers Heli Ski, the camp at Whitewater includes lunches at First Tracks Cafe, coaching from some of Canada’s most accomplished professional freeskiers, demos from Salomon and some awesome prize giveaways including a pair of Salomon Rockettes.

Girls Do Ski was founded in 2007 by professional skier Leah Evans who wanted to provide a unique experience for women – life lessons on skis where women are treated equally and encouraged to achieve their personal best.

Since then, Evans has met with continued success and the idea has grown into one of Canada’s most recognised and celebrated women’s sports programs.

Girls Do Ski has been featured in numerous magazines, such as SBC Skier and The Ski Journal, plus many other websites and media communications, and was recently named the ”next big thing to watch out for in female skiing” by IF3 film festival.

Evans continues to work hard and dream big, broadening relationships and opportunities with ski resorts across BC, plus expanding heli, cat and backcountry ski camps offered for the first time this year.
