ANKORS hosts Loving Bowls Luncheon at Hume Hotel

On Tuesday, May 31, ANKORS (Kootenay Boundary AIDS Network, Outreach and Support Society) will host a Loving Bowls Luncheon at the Hume Hotel in Nelson.
The Loving Bowls Luncheon is a chance for the public to pick out a beautiful bowl donated by a local artisan, fill it with gorgeous food from Nelson’s local restaurants, be serenaded by Jesse Lee and Amberstaar, win fun door prizes from local store and learn more about the work ANKORS does in the Kootenay Boundary.
All funds raised will be put in the ANKORS Foundation Fund for people in the Kootenay Boundary living with Hepatitis C.
Money from this fund is used for vitamin supplements, transportation costs, groceries, and other medical expenses.
The event will run from 12-2:30 pm. Tickets are $45, available at ANKORS. Call 505-5506 or drop by 101 Baker Street in Nelson.
