No injuries reported after car slams into Courthouse wall

Traffic near on Highway 3A near the Provincial Courthouse in Nelson was slowed due to a single-vehicle accident Thursday morning.
Shortly after 10 a.m., the driver of a small compact car lost control before driving up onto the sidewalk and slamming into the brick wall of the Courthouse causing extensive damage to the vehicle and wall.
Nelson Fire Rescue were joined by BC Ambulance and Nelson Police officers to deal with the accident.
The driver was able to walk away from the accident after being exaimed by paramedics. Traffic was slowed while tow truck removed the vehicle from the sidewalk.
