Last Marketfest of the summer season lands this Friday

West Kootenay EcoSociety invites everyone to the third and final Market Fest for 2011 on Aug. 19 on Baker Street in downtown Nelson.
More than 80 vendors will offer crafts, gifts, produce, and delicious food, while an amazing lineup of local and touring bands provides an eclectic mix of unforgettable music.
The entertainment will kick off with Moving Mosaic Samba Band at 6 pm, and will continue until 10:30 p.m. with seven bands on two stages, plus a Kids Tent.
Highlights include Shane Philip, renowned multi-instrumentalist and digeridoo phenomenon, local favorites Wassabi Duo, and funk from Pure Blend. Go to www.ecosociety.ca for a complete lineup.
Moving Mosaic will help kids make samba instruments and lead a kids samba parade, so don’t forget your samba costumes and an empty tin can.
Admission is by donation to the EcoSociety.
