Mr. Nelson contest benefits KidSport, Nelson Food Cupboard

Time is ticking down on the the third annual Mr. Nelson Fundraiser set for February 16 at Finley’s Irish Pub and Grill.
A handful of contestants are busy, or not, working out the finer details on the routines in preparation for the big day.
The contest runs from 7-9 p.m.
The event has been a big fundraiser during the past two years which will be a big boost to KidSport and the Nelson Food Cupboard, the two charities in Year Three.
In the running are:
Mr. Nelson Chrysler- Roy Wood
Mr. Nelson Ford- Greg Bishop
Mr. Finley’s Irish Pub- Ed Wilkie
103.5 The Bridge FM- Dustin Stashko
AM Ford/ Annie’s Boutique- Abe Fominoff
Eddy Music- Nikko Forsberg
Canadian 2-4-1 Pizza- Dan Cosens
Canada Post- Patryk Baryla
The overall winner is estimated to received $500.
There’s also prizes for Mr. Ticket Sales and Mr. Congeniality, all donated by Nelson businesses.
Tickets are available at Finley’s Irish Pub and Grill, as well as from Mr. Nelson contestants.
