Friends of Bill King donate to Kidsport Nelson

Kidsport Nelson along with numerous young athletes in the area just received a major donation in the memory of William (Billy) King in the sum of $2,200.
King was a person who volunteered time on many occasions to assist kids sporting events as a referee, coach and volunteer.
Funds raised from a memorial golf tournament last fall and donations in Bill’s honour were recently donated to Kidsport Nelson.
Bill’s family and friends wholeheartedly believe Kidsport mirrors his kindness and generosity by supporting local youth with financial assistance to participate in sports in the area.
Although gone, William (Billy) King of Fruitvale will be remembered for his generosity towards the local sporting community.
