Spots still available as Steve Nash Youth Basketball makes return to Nelson
The Steve Nash Youth Basketball (SNYB) program is returning to Nelson.
SNYB, previously staged in the Heritage City 12 years ago, is an inclusive ‘Youth Basketball’ program designed to develop fundamental skills, sportsmanship, and a love of the game of basketball, with instruction by LV Rogers Secondary School Senior Boys’ Basketball Head Coach, Jeremy Phelan.
SNYB is a grassroots partnership between parents, community members, and BasketballBC designed to give children across Canada an opportunity to learn fundamental basketball skills in a fun, positive, and structured environment.
SNYB sessions will run Wednesdays between 5-6 p.m. at Hume Elementary School.
Registration for boys and girls ages 6 to 12 years will be open during drop-in youth basketball on Wednesday November 4th between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. at Hume Elementary School, or contact Jeremy Phelan (250-777-3318, firstname.lastname@example.org).
Anyone wanting to register should be at the gym before the start of practice.

The 2016 SNYB Winter Season intake is $90 per child and runs from January 6th to March 2nd.
