(December 16th, 2019)

Geraldine Watmough passed away on December 5th, 2019 at home. She was born September 17th, 1929 in Trail, British Columbia.

Gerry is survived by sisters-in-law Laurie Redman and Audrey Annis and families, close family friend, Linnea (Bryon) Richardson and family, as well as relatives in the United States and England. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years Robert, her father, mother and sister.

Geraldine was born and raised in Trail where she attended Business College and started working for Cominco and moved to Vancouver in the early 1950’s where she married Robert on November 9, 1957. She worked in the Lumber industry until her retirement and during those years made numerous friends and business associates whom she was still in touch with today. When they retired, Robert and Gerry moved to Procter, B.C. where she loved sitting in her sunroom and watching the “boat action” on Kootenay Lake. She enjoyed her crossword puzzles and “Jeopardy”. Their home was always open for visitors! Gerry was a lovely, caring woman. Once you met her she became part of your family. She had a kind heart, welcomed everyone into her house, listened to your troubles and always had time to hear about your life. She will be sadly missed by all of us.

At Gerry’s request, there will not be a service. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
