Gordon Mackie passed away suddenly on December 18, 2017. He was born on May 24, 1928 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lorraine Mackie, children Sharon (Lewis) Mackie, Kim (Dale) Jackman, Craig (Sara Jane) Mackie, grandchildren Sheena (Jeff) McRae, Evan Mackie, Marlee Mackie, great-grandchildren Ava and Logan McRae, sister Joan Love, nieces Moira and Dilys, nephew Gordon and their families.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made in Gordon’s honour to the Nelson Jubilee Manor, 500 Beasley St W, Nelson, BC V1L 6G9.
