Winning ticket in $50-million Lotto Max sold in Edmonton

Someone who purchased a Lotto Max ticket in Edmonton received their Christmas present early.
Following four weeks of no winners, the $50-million jackpot in Friday night’s Lotto Max draw was won by a ticket purchaser in Edmonton.
The winning numbers were 2, 13, 18, 24, 27, 37 and 43 with the bonus number of 14.
Thirteen winning the 19, 50 MaxMillions tickets, were won or shared were sold in Ontario, three in Alberta, one in Winnipeg and two in Atlantic Canada.
Only one MaxMillions ticket was won in BC.
Four winning tickets for prizes of $231,287.40 were also purchased in Calgary, Saskatchewan and Ontario.
The big multimillion-dollar prize has gone unclaimed for the past four weeks.
The $100,000 EXTRA prize for Friday December 20, 2013 was won by one lucky ticket purchased in Saskatoon.
