It’s sleep-counting time for Halloween lovers as the big day is just around the corner.

Wednesday, on Baker Street a block full of zombies awoke from the dead for the annual Wildflower/ South Nelson School School Zombie Walk.

Approximately 100 students, staff and parents from the Wildflower and South Central School dressed as zombies, brought Michael Jackson’s Thriller to the delight of a large crowd.

The flash mob performance, during the noon hour on Baker Street, was a hit with the lunchtime crowd as camera phones were clicking and videos were rolling to capture the performance from the two schools in Kootenay Lake School District.

Wildflower provides a multi-age learning environment that is personalized and challenges students to achieve their best personal results.

Wednesday, Wildflower students, combined with a class at South Nelson, to deliver a personal and thrilling show for the public.

In case you missed the show, The Nelson Daily ad rep Deb Fuhr had her trusty IPhone on record for the video version.
