The Trafalgar Thunder continue to roll up wins on the West Kootenay Junior Girl’s Volleyball scene.

The Thunder posted wins over Grand Forks Wolves and Stanley Humphries Rockers en route to the top prize during a playday tournament Thursday (October 29) in the Boundary City.

Trafalgar posted a 4-0 mark while the other Thunder squad finished the playday with a win and three narrow losses.

Coach Staci Proctor said the key to the undefeated record was due to strong serving by Grade 6 player Jaylen Rushton as well as Abby Jackson and Addis Atkinson.

The Thunder, also winners of a playday earlier this season at Mount Sentinel, travel to Trail Thursday to compete in a playday event hosted by the J. Lloyd Crowe Hawks.

November 19, Trafalgar plays host to one of the final stops on the season schedule in preparation for the West Kootenay Junior Girl’s Championship tournament hosted at Mount Sentinel (Friday) November 27.
