Selkirk College Gala 2017 Inspires

The annual Selkirk College Gala took place at Mary Hall on Nelson’s Tenth Street Campus on Saturday night with more than 200 guests taking in a showcase of student talent.
With the theme “Inspiring Dreams,” Gala 2017 pointed a spotlight at students in the Professional Cook Training Program, Resort & Hotel Management Program and the Contemporary Music & Technology Program. Donors and community supporters were treated to a delicious three-course meal and pre-dinner canapes, a beautifully decorated venue and excellent service, along with a dazzling 50-minute music performance.
Funds raised at the annual November event will go towards the Selkirk College 50th Anniversary Legacy Fund which is creating a $50,000 endowment for scholarships and bursaries that will assist students in all programs as they work towards their educational dreams.
