Rainbow takes over Nelson

The seven-day forecast from Environment Canada doesn’t look that great as rain dominates the upcoming predictions by the weather department.
However, every once in a while the sun does shine as it did over Nelson Thursday afternoon.
A reader of The Nelson Daily wanted to cheer people up with this photo of a rainbow over Gyro Park.
The photo works for a brief time Friday, with a few sunny periods mixed in with the rain before the region gets soaked for the next seven days.
