It appears no one was severely injured in a two-vehicle accident that sent one person to hospital Sunday afternoon at Playmor Junction on Highway 3A.

Tarry’s Fire Department was called to the scene of the accident involving a Toyota SUV and a Toyota Tacoma pickup at the junction of Highway 3A and 6.

“When we arrived, I thought it was going to be a more worse than it was,” said Tarry’s Fire Chief Greg Patterson.

“All the occupants were out of the vehicles.”

Patterson said one female passenger riding in the van was taken to hospital by BC Ambulance.

The driver of the SUV was okay as was the male driver of the Tacoma pickup.

The accident, which wiped out a light standard, happened at approximately 12:45 p.m. Sunday.

RCMP continues to investigate the crash.

Crescent Valley Fire Department also attended the accident.
