Nelson Fire and Rescue looks to bolster Auxiliary Department

Nelson Fire and Rescue is looking for a few good men, and women, to bolster its Auxiliary Department.
A reduction in the Auxiliary Department has forced Nelson Fire and Rescue to accept applications for Auxiliary Fire Fighters.
Applicants need to be in good physical condition, must be a minimum of 19 years of age and be able to work in a team environment.
Applicants must reside in the Nelson Fire and Rescue response area.
Written, completed applications must be received at Nelson Fire and Rescue by no latter than noon Wednesday, November 4, 2015.
All applicants will be required to write an aptitude exam, November 4 at 7 p.m. Those who successfully complete the exam may attend the training weekend, November 6-8.
