Kootenay Lake District staff member accepts new position

Kootenay Lake School District No. 8 (SD8) extends congratulations to Director of Innovative Learning, Lorri Fehr, who is taking on a new and exciting challenge for the 2018/2019 school year.
Fehr has been granted a one-year leave of absence to start up the Columbia Lake Technology Centre at Canal Flats in the East Kootenay. Keenly interested in innovation and in rural development, this opportunity offers to both Fehr and to the District an incredible opportunity for growth.
The District wishes Fehr well and looks forward to welcoming her back in the fall of 2019.
