Nelson Waldorf School hosts Lunar New Year celebration

The Waldorf School hosted a recent celebration of the Lunar New Year in Nelson.
Following a parade through the grounds led by a dragon the students got to see Mochi making — and then try themselves and of course, taste Mochis.
Students also got to make dragon masks and calligraphy, and to send a wish in the fire for the New Year.
The celebration was topped off with a Lion Dance performance by Zen’s local Lion Dance troupe.
