Cadet Sergeant Isabelle Henderson, of 561 “Nelson Osprey” Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron in Nelson, is employed with other senior cadets leading the Cadet Activity

Program (CAP) local contingent this summer near Fruitvale.

Part of that involved leading the Cadets on a hike in Champion Lake Provincial Park.

Cadet Sergeant Henderson, joined the 561 “Nelson Osprey” Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron in 2018 to pursue an interest in the aircrew survival and marksmanship parts of the Cadet Program.

She applied to work with her local CAP site to pass on her training and experience to new cadets joining the program.

Cadet Sergeant Henderson states that she has enjoyed her experience as a staff cadet working with the CAP staff and attending CAP.

After the five-day program, she looks forward to enjoying the rest of her summer off and preparing for another training year with Cadets in September 2023.
