Calling all rowers to BC Games Zone One tryouts

Athletes between the ages of 14-16 years wanting to get a taste of the BC Summer Games should check out the Nelson Rowing Club for a chance to compete for spots on the Zone 1 Rowing Team.
Before June 10th the Zone 1 Rowing coaches will be selecting youth born in 2000 or later (age 14-15-16 years) for the Zone 1 BC Summer Games rowing crew.
The opportunity is open to males and females and the boats being selected are the single and double scull.
Anyone familiar with the Concept II rowing machine at the gym already have an idea what is required.
The Zone one team will compete in the 1500 meter time trial and a 1000 meter heat in the Games regatta.
