The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of two persons who died following an air crash on Monday (April 13) as Robert Brandt, aged 34, and Kevin Wang, aged 32, both residents of the Vancouver area.

Brandt was the pilot and Wang the co-pilot of a twin-engine Swearingen SA-226 plane that was flying cargo from Vancouver International Airport to Prince George for Carson Air when it was reported missing after disappearing off radar shortly after 7 a.m. on April 13.

Following a massive search the downed craft was found in the North Shore mountains. Both men were deceased at the scene.
