Man dies after falling off cliff near Chilliwack

RCMP said a 48-year-old man from Chilliwack has died after falling off a cliff in an ATV-related accident Sunday (May 17).
Police were called at 1:06 p.m. to a man was on a trail when he tried to dodge an oncoming all-terrain vehicle.
He lost his footing and fell over the edge said police.
Paramedics and members of Chilliwack Search and Rescue attended.
The body of the man, found at the bottom of the cliff, has been recovered, and family has been notified.
Some family members were present at the trail when the accident occurred.
Police said drugs and alcohol are not factors in the incident.
