Boers, Albertus

Albertus (Albert, Bert) Boers passed away on Feb 5, 2024, at Poplar Ridge Pavilion LTC in Trail, BC. He was 83 years old and died of natural causes with his youngest daughter, Karin, by his side. He is also survived by his son, Robert (Rob) and 5 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Johanna, who passed away in 2017 and his eldest daughter, Jacqueline, who passed away in 1964.
Albert was born in 1940 in Nijmegen, the Netherlands and married Johanna in 1963. After living in Switzerland for a number of years, he moved with his wife and 2 youngest children to Calgary in 1977. Albert and Johanna also lived in Maple Ridge, BC before retiring in 2004 and moving to Hills, BC.
At Albert’s request, there will be no service.
