Mallard's Team of the Week — Nelson Leafs U15 Hockey Team

The Nelson Leafs U15s came within a few minutes of claiming the BC Hockey Tier 3 Championships in Quesnel.
The Leafs finished second to New Westminster, losing the final 6-3 to finish with the silver medal.
The final result did not dampen what was an amazing season for the U15s.
Nelson won the West Kootenay Minor Hockey title with a 10-1-1 record while adding tournament victories in Nelson, Canal Flats, Banff and Canmore, AB.
The U15s, which defeated Trail in the West Kootenay Playoffs, also played well against top Tier 2 teams at tournaments in Kamloops.
Mallard’s Source for sports would like to salute the Nelson Leafs U15s for a fine season as Team of the Week.
The team includes, Brady Quiding, Kristos Kotares, Tiger Bzdel, Brody Arjun, Cooper Anast, Keegan Gaynor, Chason Hartland, Kiearn Mucha, Oakley Dickinson, River Marshall, Hudson Vanlerberg, Duncan Giroux, Tanner Ross, Reed Cathro, Eddie Carew, Parker Wolbalm, Hayden Rice, Cole Taylor and head coach Mario DiBella.
