Mallard's Team of the Week — LVR Bombers Basketball

The L.V. Rogers Bombers recently concluded the High School Girls Basketball season with a 2-1 record at the Stanley Humphries Tournament in Castlegar.
The Bombers opened with a five-point loss to host Stanley Humphries before knocking off Grand Forks Wolves and Kootenay River of Creston to finish in the middle of the pack.
In the opening game, Paityn Lake scored a game-high 21 points to lead the Bombers.
Lake was also LVR’s Game MVP.
Liza Korinth scored 20 points against Grand Forks to carry the offence for the Bombers. Halle Martin was Game MVP.
In the final contest, the Bombers scored 67 points to outlast Kootenay River by 14 points.
Korinth scored 20 points to lead LVR and was name Game MVP.

The Bombers, coached by Sarah Fuhr, includes, Riordan Fisher, Gia Davidson, Atlyn Proctor, Liza Korinth, Paityn Lake, Lexis Elias, Dawn Cooke Front: Kira Martin, Jazmine Mangapot, Piper Maillet, Taya Short, Chloe Levert and Halle Martin.
