Special Olympics BC – Nelson were the big winners at the recent Nelson Leafs Kootenay International Junior Hockey League New Year Eve game at the NDCC Arena.
Hockey fans were able to get up close and in person to learn more about our Athletes, Donations, Sponsorship, Upcoming Events and Volunteer Registration for the local Special Olympics organization.
The funds raised will be used to support local Special Olympic athletes in their sports endeavours.
Through the power of sports people with diverse abilities discover new strengths, skills and success while make great friends.
