Mallard's Team of the Week — Nelson Minor Hockey Association U11s

The Christmas break was a time for the three teams of the Nelson Minor Hockey Association U11 clan to get out and assemble as one team, playing a friendly game (with a few U13 and U9 players added into the mix) at the Nelson and District Community Complex.
Players from the Knights, Huskies and North Stars broke up the two-week break from regular play with some — regular play, filling both benches with a solid cohort of kids eager to skate.
The final score was up for debate, but coach Ian Perreault in one of the nets kept the score close enough that everyone competed right to the end.
Mallard’s Source for sports would like to salute all of the players with Team of the Week honours.
The players are back on the ice for the unofficial second half of the Minor Hockey season.
