The Queen City Burlesque Expo is coming to Salmo, Castlegar, and Nelson in September 6-9.

Founder and organizer Deja Louve says this year’s display of talent is not to be missed.

“I’m constantly looking to elevate the art form of Burlesque. My goal is always to present sensational talent by industry professionals. Our tagline is ‘a sensational Vaudeville affair,’” says Louve.

Louve has produced and performed Burlesque in many towns around this area.

She is excited to bring two Broadway actors as headliners for the event, who will teach classes during a mentorship program where participants will learn how to improve their stage arts.

The local headliner for the event is Mz. Iris Wilde.

Her troupe, the Lady Luck Showgirls, will also be appearing.
