Trafalgar's Dawson Abraham wins bronze at High School Track and Field Championships

Trafalgar’s Dawson Abraham earned a bronze medal at the BC High School Track and Field Championships held this past weekend in Langley.
Abraham completed the Grade 8 Boys 1500 meters in a time of 4:26.68 to finish third overall.
Abraham narrowly missed out on another medal after placing fourth in the 800 meters with a new personal best of 2:10.42.
More than 2000 competitors from high schools across the province competed in the annual provincial championship.
Trafalgar was also represented by Aleah Smith in the 1500 meters and 800 meters and by Ruby Nay in the 3000 meters.
L.V. Rogers athletes included Mitchell Erickson in the 800 meters and 1500 meters and Maya Abraham in the 100 meters and 400 hurdles events.
All competitors from LVR and Trafalgar each set new personal bests in their respective events.
