Mallard's Team of the Week — Mount Sentinel Wildcats Volleyball

The Mount Sentinel Wildcats will roll out the red carpet to host the BC High School Single-A Girl’s Volleyball Championships this week at the South Slocan school.
BC High School Sports, along with the host venues of numerous volleyball provincial championships, have been scrambling to reschedule tournaments after recent weather events closed many highayws in the province.
Mount Sentinel organizers are waiting this week to confirm teams attending the Single-A Girl’s tournament as well as determining the provincial draw, which is expected to begin Thursday with round robin games.
As the Wildcats prepare to host the tournament for the 11th time since 1990, Mallard’s Source for sports wanted to salute the squad as Team of the Week.
The team includes, Gevyn Hlookoff, Breanne St Thomas, Jaylen Rushton, Lexi Elias, Natasha Holland, Brynn Strelaeff, Alina Stooshnoff, Aoroa Miller and veteran girl’s volleyball coach at Mount Sentinel, Joe Moreira.
