Chilliwack RCMP said two locals are facing charges after being arrested by police for an alleged on-line dating robbery.

Police said charges stem from a call received by the Chilliwack RCMP on April 5, 2018 around 4:30 p.m. to report a person had been robbed at knife point while visiting an apartment in the 9400-block of Cook Street.

RCMP said officers arrived at the address where their investigation led them to evidence linking an on-line dating site and a pair of individuals to the robbery.

Police said the suspects, Alexis Kasey Nicole Neill, 25, and Kyle James Wall, 27, were quickly located and taken into custody by police and each face one charge of robbery.

“RCMP caution that everyone you meet on-line may not be who they represent themselves to be,” says Corporal Mike Rail spokesperson for the UFVRD.

“Use discretion when going out on those first dates.
