The Nelson Leafs are playoff bound at the BC Hockey Bantam Tier 3 Championships.
The Leafs finished the round robin draw with a 4-0 record after disposing the Sunshine Coast 8-3 Tuesday afternoon at the Civic Centre Arena.
Noah Quinn scored three times and Seamus Boyd and Joe Davidson had a pair to pace the Leafs goal scoring attack. Kaleb Percival added a single.
Rhett Hamilton had four assists.
In other action Wednesday, Penticton won both games, defeatiing Sunshine Coast 8-5 and Terrace 5-1; Dawson Creek and Terrace played to a 4-4 tie and Cranbrook beat Greater Trail 5-3.
Rounding out the standings, Terrace finished at 1-2-1, Sunshine Coast 1-3, Cranbrook 1-2, Dawson Creek 0-3-1 and Greater Trail 0-3.
Nelson, now advances to Wedneday’s playoff round, facing Powell River at 11 a.m. in the NDCC Arena.
In the other semi final, 4-0 Mission plays Penticton.
The winners advance to the Gold Medal Game at 8 p.m. in the NDCC Arena while the semi final losers meet in the Bronze Medal Game at 5 p.m.
