KidSport Nelson is paying off in a big way for local athletes, shelling out grants to young, aspiring competitors to the tune of $27,366 in 2017.
To thank donors, KidSport Nelson hosted a get together during Saturday’s KIJHL game at the NDCC Arena between the Nelson Leafs and Spokane Braves.
Thanks to the support of the local community, KidSport Nelson has distributed more than $190,000 to over 1150 young athletes of several sports since our inception in 2007.
