Glacier rings out gymnastics season with Year End Show

The Glacier Gymnastics Club is hosting its annual Year End Show on Tuesday and Wednesday (June 14-15) at  6 p.m., at the club’s facility located downstairs in the Civic Centre on Vernon Street in Nelson.

Everyone is invited to come out and watch this popular event that consists of group and solo performances by the Glacier Gymnastics Club’s Pre-Competitive and Competitive Boys and Girls Teams and the club’s Acro/Dance Display Team. Don’t miss the excitement of the tumbling finale, with the never ending flips by the competitive team.

The performances will feature 40 Zone champions and medalists and 12 Provincial champions and medalists, including Brianne Stefani, BC Winter Games & Provincial champion.

“The club had a very successful competitive year,” said Head Coach, Sandra Long.

“This season, our competitive gymnastics and trampoline teams brought home several medals and trophies from Zone, Provincial and International meets.  The Year End Show provides an opportunity for these accomplished gymnasts to wow the community with the amazing skills they learned and competed this year.”

Tickets are on sale for $10 each and can be purchased at the Glacier Gymnastics Club.   

The Club is currently taking registrations for Preschool and 6 years & up Summer Camps. Sign up early, space is limited.
