Mallard's Team of the Week — Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medalists

It was a ceremony fit for a Queen.
Last week at Nelson’s Hume Hotel, BC Southern Interior MP Alex Atamanenko joined the Regional District of Central Kootenay Board of Directors to recognize 10 outstanding individuals for years of contributions to communities and fellow citizens throughout the region with Queen’s Diamond Jubilee medals.
Mallard’s Source for Sports salutes the winners by honouring the group as Team of the Week.
The winner’s include, back row, L-R, Corky Evans, BC Southern Interior MP Alex Atamanenko, Hans Cunningham and Josh Smienk.
Middle, Nelson City Councilor Donna Macdonald, Rebecca McDonnell of Kaslo, Geoff Yule of Castlegar and John Voykin.
