It’s the end of the school year at Kootenay School of the Arts at Selkirk College, and its time to show what a difference a year (or eight months) makes.

KSA is inviting the community to its annual year-end show and sale this weekend, running Friday and Saturday in the KSA building on the corner of Victoria and Josephine streets.

Showcasing work from the fibre, clay, jewellery and metal studios, the opening begins at 5:30 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m. on Friday, April 15, and will continue all day Saturday, April 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“This year’s students have worked hard to push the boundaries and explore in full, the skills they have learned. It is exciting to experience the individuality of each student’s creative flow,” said Hannah Everitt, a first year student from the fibre studio.

Students will showcase their concepts, designs and skill sets in their production lines and one-of-a-kind work from this year’s explorations.
